PNG FIX FOR IE 6 and under

Hi i'm having a really bad time trying to use semi-transparent png files as a bg for my content i tried all possible fixes available and it just wont work!

Did u have this problem? How did u solve it? Help me please! :)

the problem with this solution is that it doesn't support bg y and x-repeat and my bg is based on it

annagaudia - I suppose the problem appears with the body.png file. Maybe you can use this trick: http://www.howtocreate.co.uk/alpha.html
or just save the image as a gif and make a special stylesheet just for IE6 and below.

thank you very much cgan, I'm trying it but when i comment it out the file is gone completely, it doesn't show it at all :( :( :(

i think i will have to do gif files especially for IE6 and below :(
