text suddenly deleted

Hopefully anybody experienced this before and knows what to do...

I wanted to change a spelling mistake on my site after not using it for several months. After saving the page the text was gone.

I experimented a little to find a solution. The Position-number can be changed and is saved. Also I can add new pages. I also tried to change the chmod rights.

It seems that just the text is deleted in the process of saving the details of a page.

What can I do to continue working with quick.cms without deleting all content in the meantime.

I use quick.cms lite since beginning of 2008. I cannot find back the precise version number.

Have now got QuickCMS Lite and QuickCMS running on a few sites and not having any of these issues but these are all 2.1 versions - suggest you try an update to 2.1 - should not be to hard just back up everything first!

that did the trick... I tried already copying files from another site which still worked, but that gave no succes. Gwmbox' advice was more succesful.

Hi, I´m going to be insane ... I have probably same problem. Using QuickCMS 2.2, have about 1050 files on web, everyone with special description. After a few days of using web about HALF of every description simply lost.

Please, anybody knows, what happend? I understand nobody returns descriptions of files back, I must do it by hand ... but why that happend? Will it be again?:(
