I started managing a quick.cms website recently. I updated the exiting version (Quick.CMS 1.2) to the most recent (Quick.CMS.Lite 2.4) using the conversion script (provided on the Quick.CMS website) and following the instructions provided. After i copied the files and used the script to update the files (several hundreds of files) in the db folder, when I try to add a new page in the backend it doesn't work. There is no error message. When I press save or save and go to list it just returns a blank new page form.
I've searched this forum for a similar problem but couldn't find any information. Does anyone have any ideas of what might cause this problem? A faulty conversion maybe. How can I solve it?

Did you remember to re-set the attributes of all the db files to 777?

1.Yes, I did reset the attributes of the db files to 777 but I still can't insert new articles or save changes on older ones. Could there be another cause?
2.Also I have another problem. In the case of longer article titles the full article isn't displayed. Are the links limited to a certain length. If so, can I edit Trash.php function Change2Url and truncate the links?
