using db from another account

Is it possible to use a db from another account?
i have a 777 problem in my new website account ,so i was thinking about the option to use the db from another account that have no chmod problem.
so that the website will be on one server and the admin will be on anotherone.

Maybe the better idea will be move whole site to another server where You don't have problems with CHMOD attributes?

i know that this will be the best way to do..
but my client wants to do it on the server that have this problem.
so,do you think it can be done?can i use one site taken the db from another one?how can i do it?
