Admin Login Failed

So I have installed my first instance of quick.cms and am unable to login to the administrative panel. I have followed the instructions, and see this question has been asked in the past, but see no applicable answer. Can anyone give me a good direction?

I should also note what happens more specifically. When I put in the correct password it resets the login page to a blank password and when I put in an incorrect password it says wrong password.

Speakeasy - i dont know why you cant login. maybe because you didn't give chmod 777 to all files in config/ ?

I have checked the CHMOD settings and everything is correct. Any other suggestions?

no other ... i cant figure why it dont works ... maybe sessions problems? could you ask server admin about server sessions restrictions ?
