Hi,
I installed the program successfully and could open it correctly. When trying to change the login and password, I get the following message: (the first one once, the other ones about 20-30 times):

Warning: fopen(config/general.php): failed to open stream: Permission denied in /home/www/web91/html/wue_org/cmseinfach/core/common-admin.php on line 113

Can anyone tell me why?

I have set chmod to 777, but I need to check the upload if it was binary. I think it is, since I use Filezilla. Will check that tonight. Thank you.

I just deleted all files from the server, uploaded again with binary mode. Same thing. Seems not to be my cms. sorry.

Have you really set chmod 777 to all files?

cgan,
the understanding-problem can be in the linked documentation.
"
(set chmod 777)
“config/” - (optionally) for this directory and all files in this directory, if you want edit configuarion through administration
"
it is not clear enough (nonambiguous) that changing password belongs to config-editing.

boboo - you're right. It should be clearer.
