How to make expanded menu in 1 or 2 levels

How to make expanded menu in one or two levels, but not in all levels the menu got? Higher levels (deeper subpages) should be invisible still I press on subpage to show them.

Hm.. edit file templates/themes/default.php and change line:


$sMenu3 = $oPage->throwMenu( 'menu_3.tpl', 3, $iContent, 1 );

to:


$sMenu3 = $oPage->throwMenu( 'menu_3.tpl', 3, $iContent, 2 );

And in Settings set Display expanded menu to 'No'.

NOOOO. This version doesn't have that function. I would like to see expanded menu by default, but not all levels - just one or two levels. All deeper levels should be expanded on push only.

Sample:

- Computers (visible)
- Notebooks (visible)
- Lenovo (visible after click on notebooks only)
- Samsung (visible after click on notebooks only)
- Personal computers (visible)
- Accessorries (visible)
- Software (visible)
- ...

I don't understand at all. This example which You wrote is typical using of our menu. Menu shouldn't be expanded in this case at all. Just first elements (parent pages) will be visible and submenus will be visible when You select specific parent page.

first and second elements should be expanded. third and deeper elements should be expanded on selecting.

1. Computers (visible)
1.1. Notebooks (visible)
1.1.1. Lenovo (visible after click on notebooks only)
1.1.2. Samsung (visible after click on notebooks only)
1.2. Personal computers (visible)
2. Accessorries (visible)
