editing page deletes content and page name?

Hi,

I can't find which version of Quick CMS is being used (from 2008? i'm guessing at Lite v2) but when i edit a page and then save it all the text disappears and the title. Any images on the page remain intact.
The server has recently been upgraded to php5.3 so i'm wondering if this may be causing the problem.

Any ideas what this could be?

as you will see the home page has no written content and in the left menu are gaps (top two menu items on left) where the page title should be
