if i want to insert html script like facebook like plugin to the page. where should i put my code?

On wich position you want this? Top, bottom, sidebar, in the page itself?

You will need adding style to it too, for alignment etc.

i want to insert it at the left sidebar,
if you don't mind. explain to me how to insert in all of those posistion is also okay :D

you have templates/default folder

there is a file container.tpl

to have the code in the left side (column), find the following code and insert your one

<div id="column"> Here goes your code... </div>
