Get parent page name

I have moved submenus from pages_default.tpl to container.tpl, so subpages are visible in column. What i want now, is to show name of parent menu on top of subpages.

So if we have MENU1 with SUBMENU1, SUBMENU2. We show name of MENU1 on top of SUBMENU1, SUBMENU2,...
