Producer page

I am just wondering, how I can add some description to producecers. Since I have been working still with 3.3 version and considering jump to 4.2 and 5 lately, I have notices, that you have separted Producers from regular pages. It means, that you really can´t edit producer in old way as a page? It was really good for customers, for seo... Thank for reply.
