db limitation?

We are having difficulty adding new merchandise into the admin. We started to notice data loss in the long description fields and later noticed the photos were dropping out causing the site to read the previous items picture. I suspect this has to do database limitations (but am not certain). Has anyone else run into this problem? Is there a workaround or a method of script modification that will increase the database capacity?

Hi, your problems need to be inspected by looking directly at the files in db. If you provide me with necessary files or direct ftp access, I can do this for you free of any charge. What you describe is very weird.

Also, how many images/products/pages you have?

I installed Quick.Cart.add.4.2 version and began to work with it. I created pages and products and when I thought it works fine I upload db files from older version, converting DB of v1.4 to v.4.
I can see this new pages, products, carrier and payments, but I can not edit pages or products (config, payments and carrioras, yes) because always shows this error:

"Service Temporarily Unavailable
The server is temporarily unable to service your request due to maintenance downtime or capacity problems. Please try again later."

I can clon a page but I can not edit clonned page.
I can change status to several pages or products in pages list and products list but I can not do it in a page or product edition.
I changed chmod to 777 to all DB files anf config, lang, files folderes and files of them.
DB limitation? I think no because I can clon pages and same number of items were in v1.4 with success.
What is the problem?
Any one can help me?
