adding html form to product page

Hi,
can someone point me in a right direction how to add html form the product page. I tried modifying both pages_default.tpl and products_default.tpl. So far no success. What do I need to do?

i did this:
form processing code to container.tpl
and form itself to product short or full description.

THanks there..i went to check out ur sites. It is not what Im looking for. I want to add some comment form on the product page. so when I click the picture, the product details are displayed and there is html form for use to comment about the product.. But I virtually tried everything but none worked.

Hi Heliumx,

do you want this comment just for your mailbox, or do you want to show these comments in product description page also?

at first option a will use some php mailer (was first in google search: http://www.freecontactform.com/email_form.php).

will create send_form_email.php and put this in root,
will put form to product page,
will create new page in hidden sectoin as form thank you page,
will insert this new page url as meta http-equiv="refresh" content="0; URL=" to send_form_email.php

second option, i can't help

Thanks anyway Heywood.. What I want exactly is... I want to show contact-me form on the product description page.. So from the gallery page (product page), when I clicked the image, it displays the product description page (the norms). There in product description page, i want to show contact-me form. Any help is greatly appreciated..

so, you have to put this form to full description field. or am i missing something?
