sorting product listing by price and results per page

Hi. I would like to know how to sort products by their prices, either ascending or descending. In essence, a drop down menu with 2 options, low to high or high to low. Secondly, is there a way to change the number of products being displayed. The 2 mods should happen in the client side and not the admin side.

this you can find in /actions_client/p.php
what i want to say: the parameter $iProductsList will get the value 999 or null - depending on ViewAll click.
if null, then it will be read from $config['products_list'] in the listProducts function. all you have to do is to manipulate (with dropdown menu) the value of $iProductsList.

1. In the newest (3.6) QC version in /core/products.php you will find a beautifull sortProducts function. use it.
