Duplicate order

I need code which will duplicate customer order to the new order id. Is there anybody who was done this before ? Any hints to do that ?

why would you want that? I have some experience with QC 2.x, but why would you need to duplicate an order?

Sometimes customers return products and I would like to do new order about that. The quantity of products shoud be negative (example -1), it means that items go back to my stock and then my stock quantity is right all the time. And I have some other reasons also.

hmm, there seems to be a lack of ability to cancel orders in QC v. 2.2. Orders with negative quantity is not really a solution to that..
If you upgraded your shop to ver. 3.x, then there would be ability to cancel orders (I think). You should at least ask OpenSolution.org about it.

Is there any hints which modules/functions are usefull if I do this myself ? Is there anybody who can give me some advice ? I will really need this feature, because it saves my job every day.

it's very difficult to give advice for QC 2.x because it has a bit different structure than current QC 3.6. Any wrong advice could just confuse you more.

My version is ext, but I think that modification can be do to the free version first, database is same in free and ext. Stock function is only in ext version and it is easy to add later to the code.

If I get code hiont how to duplicate order, it is my first step. After that I can add stock functionality to code.
