missing order information and now order pending/canceled/prosesssing info

help my orders are disappearing.and now the order weather it is pending/canceled etc.is disappearing how do i get the info back and how do i stop it from happening?help i don't know which quick cart version i have i just picked one

First look at file config/general.php and search for variable $config['version'] and read which version do You have.

if you are having version 1.x then this is the orders disappearing bug. It's basically a database corruption, sometime easy to fix. However there is no way to solve it in the long-term, it will happen again, unless you convert your shop to QC 3.x.
