newbie, my site main page is index.php what do I do?

I just downloaded quick.cms and on my website the main page is index.php but there is also the index.php included in quick.cms if I upload quick.cms directly it will overwrite my main page. Do I need to create another folder for quick.cms and upload to that seperate folder or do I need to modify my site/rename my index.php on my site? Please advise, thank you!

You can put Quick.Cms in subfolder or if Your website do not use php You can change extension of file to .html and this file will load first (before index.php).
