Calculations with extra fields?

I want to add an extra field to te products, so i can make a calculation. My Shop gives prices for 1 product, that is what oure costumers need to know, but the can order only special amounts like 12 or 24. It is not a standard order-amount. I want to calculate when they offer a product that costs 2,95 each, the have to order say 12 products, so when they order 1 product, automaticly is calculated the amount of 12 x 2,95.

I have tried to test calculating with the fields $aData[sAvailable] x $aData[sPrice] but that gives 0

$aData[sPrice] in the product page gives just the number (12) but the calculation results as 0

I think this kind of modding requires some funds: it is a very specific request and although I've done something with additional field at products before, it would be quite impossible to write all the changes that are needed here. It's easier to actually do it than to write about it.
