Language Problem

Hi,

Just installed the latest version and after i create a new language (pt) using the "en" language, displays "The data could not be found".
Already read the manual, but can't figure it out...

you must create all "system" pages that are necessary (basket, order form, etc.), then use admin>settings>pages to set these new pages as system pages.

Thanks for the answer, but isn't that weird?
If I change the language all data (pages) are gone?

Try to copy all the en_ files in db and change them to your language pt_

yes, you can always copy the data files in db/ folder but don't copy the *.def.php as they contain the language function that would not work in another language.

hawe this problem, dont have db files on new language created ion server... i tried to copy newlanguage_pt files, but i got errors...

this is usefull info, that it doesnt have to copy def files....

so if i understand right, i just copy all other files, and not the files vith def.php extencion?....with newlanguage prefix?
