I install QC3 have error in admin login page

Parse error: parse error, unexpected $ in /home/wed/public_html/qc/core/products-admin.php on line 1

how i can do

I get this error is QC3 when adding an image to the product:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: imagecreatefromjpeg() in /Users/ben/Sites/QuickCart/libraries/FotoJobs.php on line 264

Any help?

I have the same issue with the Perse error in products-admin.php, same line. I don't see anything unusual in the code for that line, but then again, I'm a newb.

I have the same problem, the error is:
Parse error: parse error, unexpected $ in /home/disk2/www.auctionokay.com/core/products-admin.php on line 1

Even I can log-in Admin, when I click Products linking, above message appear again, any body know why?
