Is it possible to show entries on the home page ordered by date they're added, not in alphabetic order?

you could import all 'entries' into calc or excel. Change column containing position to the order you want the items to have. Export back into QC db file.

Then just everytime you add a new item, just remember to change 'position' of the item for it to be where you want.
