Installation problems

PHP 5.2.9, QC 3.3. I installed quickcart as described in the instructions but when I open /admin I just get a black pane - no content at all. The server is processing the php files but nothing in coming through, no errors, no admin screen. Any idea what I could be missing? Many thanks

yes, this could be server giving you errors without displaying them. I've had this happen when there was too little memory for QC application.
Please try on some other server.

Thanks beholder. Tried other browsers with the same result; the server is pretty beefy, it's one I've done a lot of c++ dev on. I'll see if I can put it on my hosting company server... I'll report back. Ta.

Yep, that works. It put it up on my hosting company and it works exactly as it should. There is either some difference in their PHP setup or as beholder said, maybe just more memory or something.
