Hi.

I recently moved my Quickcart 3.2 from one website to another, I took care of file permissions and everything seems to work smoothly. Except for one thing of course..

I cant edit the pages.. I can open up a page and make the changes, but when I wan't to save the page i get the error message:

"Forbidden! You don't have permission to access /quickcart/admin.php on this server."

I've checked the file permissions, and admin.php is chmod'ed 755..

What can i do?

admin.php should be fine chmodded the way you have it.

You could try to access admin via a direct link:
www.yourpage.com/admin.php
( NOT www.yourpage.com/admin ! )

if this doesn't work, please check for some weird .htaccess file settings.
If that is not the case, try this:

rename index.php to index.temp and rename admin.php to index.php
try to access quick cart normally. You SHOULD get into administration. If this is the case, contact your server administrator for remedy.

I can easily access the admin section, both through /admin and through /admin.php, the problem occurs when i want to edit the pages.. I can make the changes, but when i press save, the error message comes up.

can you edit anything else BUT pages? because if you can't edit anything (settings, files, products,..) it could be some redirect problem.

hmm... I have met with similar situation once. This could be some server memory problem, while server is configured not to write error messages.
You can contact me, I could try to upload your whole webshop to one of my FTPs to see what happens..

I'll try and move it to my home server and see if the problem still occurs.
