Hello - I have been looking for an easy to use and simple webshop for a while now.
I am not an experian user with PHP MySql ect. - I am not a complete dummy too, but in between (i think) :-)
I have tried several solutions, but either I could not install these vesions, or I find them too complexed for me :-(

Finally I head abort Quick.Cart, and I tried the free version. Finally a ShopSystem that I could handle, and it have all the options that I wanted - Except one "little" thing: I need to Product's attributes on my shop :-(

I can see that the only option to get this is to buy the EXT-version for 189 EUR - Now (finally) comes my questions:
1. Will my webhotel run this when it can run the free version ?
2. Is the EXT-version as simple to use as the free version (can I handle it) ?
3. Is there something else I should be aware off ?

I hope for some great answers here :-)
Sorry for my poor english .... (im Danish) ...

Yes, I do recommend QC EXT. Just keep in mind, new updates are not automatic --> you don't get a new EXT version when it comes out, you would have to buy it (licence for it) again. I think. BUT do negotiate with opensolution.org, I think they are quite open about that.

Thank You Beholder.

Thats an important note you gave me. No updates without buying new licence ?
First bad thing I hear :-(

Still - Im in love with this system. It is so easy to use, and still very fleksible.
Maybe I'll buy it anyway .....

Just another small comment: new Quick.Cart is an extension Quick.CMS, so there is virtually no need to buy both if you just buy Quick.Cart. Hence, another reason why REALLY you should buy Quick.Cart. Shopping features could be easily disabled on the client-side (leaving only the CMS features), if you don't mind the extended webshop-like administration.

Yes, and do get the new EXT 3.3 version, not the older 3.2.

You missed something important Beholder !

I should use the Quick.Cart and the Quick.CMS on two DIFERRENT webpages, and therefore I need two licences as I read it - Right ???

When You buy, you get the newest version, right ???

Hmm... probably, I never looked closely at the commercial licence.

When you buy, you get a current stable version, which is 3.2. But 3.3 is almost ready and there's no reason NOT to install it, it has at least 1 important thing fixed. And several small ones.

But you should discuss these things with Quick.Cart creators themselves, why don't you write to their email, they'll be happy to let you know how it is.
