I don't want my admin email accounts to receive any emails including any bounce email addresses.
I only want the configured email addresses to receive all notifications.
How can i disable any mail being sent to admin accounts.

Does this have anything with the Quick.Cart shopping system?

zed, sorry.. I cannot help, I'm quite new in Quick cart. But maybe you can help me. Just like you, I'm using Quick cart 2.1. I cannot set admin to receive e-mails when an order is done. How did you set QC 2.x to enable it the client send e-mail to admin when the order is completed? Thank you in advance

Go to configuration and check 'E mail new orders to admin'.
Also install the 'html Mail Order Details' plugin and again check 'E mail order to admin' in the plugin configuration.

I still don't get your original question, Zed.

I have got different email addresses set up with my webhost and one of them is admin@xxx.org.
When an order is placed i would like the client to receive a notification email but not admin.
Although i have unchecked 'e mail order to admin' however if the clients email address does not exist then undelivered mail is returned to the admin account for some strange reason.

NOTE: the email address in my configuration is not even the admin address.

I see, perhaps it's this,

look at core/orders.php and search for this line:
$aSend['sSender']= $GLOBALS['config']['orders_email'];

Then try to change it to this:
$aSend['sSender']= "whatever_email_you@want.com";

But perhaps it's your server configured to automatically include "From:admin@xxx.org" in all sent email headers, so this could be a question for your server administrator.
