HELP PLEASE!!!

In czech language (as in many other non-english languages) are few non-ASCII characters as č, ř, ž, š, ú etc. They appear correctly in QuickCart, but problem is that QC can't handle them while sorting. So, products starting with one of those characters are listed at the end. This is very important problem for me and unfotunatelly I can not use QC until I solve it.

Any idea, please?

I don't get this.. on what page is the listing wrong?
because in Quick.Cart 3.x the sorting is dependent on product/page position, instead of alphabetical order from product name. Or am I missing something?

On every page - categories, products etc...
See for example this test:
http://antik31cz.ondrejhokr.cz/?prvni-kategorie,8

Č should be just after C, Ř after R and so on...

What do you mean by position depending? When I keep 0 at position field, everything should be sorted alphabetically (I want more than thousand products - I cannot sort it manually).

Hello,
There is one more problem with internetional charcters - search form does not recognize them if you type all small letters and if product start with capital letter.
Example:
Let's take product ČEČEK from your site; you will have search result only if you type ČEČEK in search form.
But if you type Čeček or čeček it says: "Data nebyla nalezena", or "No such product" in english version.
I have this problem with serbian language and I think it's a big bug because most of users (me also) don't pay attention on capitals while typing in search form.

This bug lasts from version 1.4 which I'm using.

Yeah, I know about it as well... I will probably add note that people should write search phrases in Latin (then it works with small/big letters)

But problem with sorting is much more serious for me. If I wont solve it, I will unfortunatelly have to find another eshop system.

I thought that the program sorts by position first and then by ID (that means by the order the products were entered into the system). But I am not sure.

BTW, how in the hell do you want to input 1000 of products? If you do this via a custom script, there is an easy way to use product IDs to sort the products in any way you want.

oh, sorry, I meant product position to sort the products in any way you want.

I am not sure if I understand you... I want more than 1000 products at start and then I want to add 1 or 2 more every day. And all of products should be sorted alphabetically every time. E-shop is living organism - I need add, delete, change... Sorting by ID is useless.
