Setting Product's Availability

I am having problems adding products to my shop. I can not select a category for for the product. It looks like if I put something in the Product's Availability section that I would be able to select a category, but I do not know what to put there.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

do you have any categories that can actually contain products? try to enable 1 of the categories (pages) to have product, it's the last checkbox on the right on the 1st tab when you edit a page.

Ohhhh well that makes sense. Thanks for the help, I had not seen that check box.
