Electronic Delivery of products?

I've been checking your site and the product feature descriptions, but it's still unclear to me whether Quick Cart can be used to sell Electronic files and provide "digital delivery".
I'm thinking about the following scenario:

- User adds a couple of files to the cart
- User pays (paypal / credit card / etc)
- Upon payment confirmation (which can be automatic, i.e. not admin checked), user gets files by email or gets a password which lets him download those files from my site.

Thus, once the system had been set up, there'd be little human intervention, at least from the seller's perspective.

Can this be done with Quick Cart?

Regards.

this requires proprietary changes, especially the part with confirmed payments/generating account and password.
I have gotten as far in QC 3.x as generating a unique ID number for each customer, that is sent via e-mail to admin and to customer. Customer can make a payment identified by that ID number. This was the easy part.

But the rest are heavy programming changes, you need to hire someone to do it.

BTW, QuickCart 3.x could be the IDEAL candidate for a simple digital delivery system. You just need to program a lot of the required functionality.
