Site Not Displayed Properly

Forgive my ignorance as I am fairly new to this... I uploaded the files as instructed but the site is not displaying properly... all text and no images.

you have a CSS problem, the CSS file cannot be accessed.
Try to delete the file ".htaccess" in the templates/ directory on the ftp server, check if it helps. If yes, you need to create a new modified .htaccess to accommodate to your server policies.

Hi I have also a problem the products are display over the menu but only in Internet explorer in firefox and Safari is all ok but in internet explorer it looks bad, do you think that the problem is from default.CSS also?

It is hard task for webmaster to make a site which in all browsers looks the same.. With IE there is a lot of problems and number of hacks are still growing .. so You have to try different solutions.. You can find many tutorials how to prepare css files in Internet ..

well i see that if I check witH ie7 or IE 8 is not a problem only with older versions of IE
