Hello

How can I change the word Categories in my website.

Note: I didn't dowload my own language (dutch) because I didn't find the wright one. Is this a problem

I did read this but as you can see in that topic I have also sad that it isn't working for me to change it. I have already tried it that way.

Haven't tried so this is a wild guess,
but maybe it can not handle the - ë - used in the translation,
(as dutch for categories is categorieën)

Thanks for thinking but this isn't the problem. The dutch word fot categories is categorieën but I have named is Artikelen as articles.

I think I can not change it unfortunatilly :-(

Why don't you use the word "Artikelgroep" for Catagories ?

problem with various strange letters in the php files could be a result from saving the files in improper format encoding. I recently encountered an issue in latest QuickCMS where the function change2Latin would not work, if the php file "core/pages.php" was not converted to "ANSI" format (previously it was in "UTF-8 without BOM" format).

The easy solution for the Dutch "categorieën" could be to download Notepad++ and then open the file config/lang_du.php. Click Format > Convert to ASCII and then save the file. Try this, it should work. Of course, it probably also depends on the general encoding of the whole QuickCart which is specified in the language file lang/du.php

hi. I have a similar problem. I've changed the english language to portuguese because of a strange problem. but that's solved.

now I have other problem. in homepage I got the name "Categories" on the left column, and I can't find the place to change it.
