I would like to add a nofollow attribute to specific links on my site.

Right now my contact pages and shop conditions score pretty high in google, and I don't want that.

I want my other pages to score higher.
I am optimizing these right pages, but I also would like to de-optimize some other pages by adding a nofollow attribute to the <a> tag of specific links.

Anyone any idea how to do this?

You have two options I think.. One is to edit database. You will have to add one more field to database which will be telling about type of link (add attribute nofollow or not). Beside of that You have to change code in some places in this case. Second way is to make Your own file robot.txt. You can write static informations for robots in it.

Frans, you need to be specific, what links you want to change?

Makaron,
The robots.txt .... totally fogot that one.
just stuck with the nofollow in my head...
I'll just create a robots.txt.
thanx for your reply!

Beholder,
the specific page is not important.
I just want to block some pages in my site from getting indexed by google.
Makaron's solution works fine for me.
