Hello here a Question of something I like to know.

For exemple:
I have four quickcartshops (shop A – B – C - D) en one mainwebsite.
Now I like to display the products (photo’s) from all four shops at the mainwebsite.
If a visitor clicks at a product on the main website the must be redirected to web shop that sells that product.

is this posible?

Thanx for your reaction beholder.

I'll like to show all the information of that product at the main website is there a plugin for or can I copy past a script into the mainsite, if so what is the name of that script? Please can and will you explain it to me at this forum?

Sure, I will explain. There is no such thing as a plugin to do this.
I would do it this way:

(As I understand, you should have one QC installation and several sub-shops within that installation are set up via language feature of the newest QC. One shop is selected in administration to be the "main" shop.)

If you would like to display just 1 or 2 products on the main website, it's easy to create a presentation of that product with text and image copied to the main page. Now the tricky part comes in: create an empty page in the main QC shop, name it after the product, add it to 'hidden pages'. Next set up redirection within that hidden page to the other QC sub-shop, where the product is actually sold. Then copy the link to the hidden page, paste it onto the main page of the main QC webshop.

Of course, if you want to add more than just a few products to the main page, you can create a relatively simple PHP script or just manually copy the products information from individual db files to the db file of the main sub-shop.

What I wrote is perhaps a bit confusing, unless you really know Quick Cart. So just let me know what you don't understand and we'll work on that.

Thanks you very much for your explanation about making a sub shop into a QC-shop. I can use that sometime so I will tries that for sure. Maybe I’ll shoot explain myself more clearly.

For example:
We have a group of armature Painter (painting artists) that will show en sells there work.
Each painter will have there own quickcartshop en there is one main site. Lets call the main site “group” and the painters John en Mike.
The site van John en Mike will have the address like john.group.nl or mike.group.nl
The main site group.nl must show the complete data of an artist that has a own QC shop in our site group.nl

Now I like to show all the information of that product on the main site to trigger a visitor to the site of the artist. The main site can be QC or Q.CSM or just a site made by myself but the important thing I like to now how can I get the complete information on that main site? (like the content: http://opensolution.org/Quick.Cart/demo/?himountain,9,1)

I hope that it is clear want I want to do and sorry for my poor explanation and English 

Allright, from what I understand you could do this:

1. use different installs of QC 3.1 for each shop and another one for the main site.

2. use a custom-made script to gather the content of db files from four sub-shops and add the (modified) content to the main shop db. Script would use server paths to locate the files, I think this is possible. Products from sub-shops would be modified to become sub-pages of the main shop. Also, to redirect to the correct products in the correct sub-shop, the redirect function would be used.

3. do the update by the custom script regularly, like once a week, or when the artist notifies you something in his shop changed.

Maybe there are some details I forgot, but overall, this should be very possible.
