Left menu expanding

Is there a way and how, to not expand left menu and show subcategories after click on some categorie, and instead of that, to show subcategories in categorie description page.

I found this: http://opensolution.org/Quick.Cart/docs/?id=tips#how_to_hide_displaying_of_subpages_in_the_left_menu, but I'm not shore that it's solution for my question, and I can't find file default.php.

Is it possible at all?

To be clear: I don't want left menu to expand when I open some categorie.

I have subcategories, but i want to show them in categorie description page.

Tried to search for an answer and found nothing.

Can anyone tell me is it possible and how?

It was realy helpfull :-)
I can still see a lot of questions for versions 0.x, 1.x, 2.x, and that questions have answers too.
Anyway, I have new version on my mind, but first I have to translate it...

The same problem. I have just installed Quick.Cart_v4.1. I expect to have more categories in its left menu and so I would prefer to have the categories collapsible/expandable. Can you give me a hint as how to do that?
