rodney - there is also payed plugin - http://www.opensolution.org/os/templates/en_Quick.Cart_features_3.0.html#attributes (it is also in v2.2Ext), so you can try to make it by your own or ask somebody or buy it... I can't give you instruction as it is quite complicated to do.

rodney, there is a plugin for v2 also, i managed to install it almost with no problems. U can get it here: http://www.opensolution.org/download,en,18.html?sDir=Quick.Cart/plugins/archive

And since i'm here, i need some help: after instaling the plugin, when i go to my card i have an error: No block: LIST_FOOTER in file: templates/orders_basket.tpl (if the bascket is not empty). Anybody knows why?

MisterM, I'm getting the same error. Can you tell me how to fixed your problem. Also my options are not showing as a user selection.

You get that error because this plugin is for v1.x and you probably have v2.x. In v2 of QuickCart, the footer comment looks like this: . Just change it in , the same with . I don't know why this happens since there are only comments. You'll have to change in other templates files too, or else you'll get the same error on different pages.
For me, the plugin works with v2, but sadly, it doesn't change the price in real time (on the produc pages) after changing the attributes, but after pressing Add to basket, the price is updated in the basket. Does anyone knows why?
