Every once in a while (every 3 months or so) a bug makes muble-jumble from orders.php file. Thus the orders in the admin area are totally in disarray. This is what was left from our orders.php file, notice the <?php exit; ?> missing from the top line (that's the main clue that the bug occured once again, also the $$$$ at the end are a clue):

1$en$0$1204530758$
29$en$0$1204721309$
28$en$0$1204719067$
27$en$0$1204715345$
26$en$0$1204712781$
25$en$0$1204689080$
24$en$0$1204672469$
23$en$0$1204665008$
22$en$1$$
21$en$0$1204659810$
20$en$0$1204659216$
19$en$0$1204655921$
18$en$0$1204655333$
17$en$0$1204640973$
$$$$

My questions:
1. What the f*** did happen?
2. is there a possibility that this could carry on to the v. 3.0 releases?

BTW, I suspect bots and search spiders didn't cause this. Something in QC must have changed orders.php somehow.
The bug was also reported here:

beholder - sometimes it happend that files are damaged. It can be caused by bots or just too big load in one time, so we always emphasise how important is to make backup. We are trying to make database as secure as it is possible. To prevent damaging by robots and bots, read http://opensolution.org/Quick.Cart/forum/?p=readTopic&nr=4688
In new v3.0 way of saving orders was changed. To orders.php file are saved only ended orders, not while adding product to basket. We hope it will solve this problems in v3.0.

Yes, the file seems to be totally RESET-ed and the count of orders restarted.

This 3.0 news is great. It seems as a final solution.
Or rather, if something (a buggy behavior) comes up anyway, it will be easier to hunt for & fix.
