Upgrade possible?

Hi all..

I am just new at this platform, but i have been working with cubecart for years. But last updates broke my product gateways.

So... I am trying your cart and i am extremly happy with it.

But i have one question: i will take same days to explore the cart, but after that, if i pretend to upgrade to pro, can i keep the work i have already done, or have to begin all from the beginning?

Acetel - it depends what You will change in freeware version. Database, images You can update but design You must do in CSS then You will easy update script. But if You will change HTML code then when You buy pro or ext version then You must compare files from templates/ directory to check changes.
Best way is to change design using CSS

And will i found any tutorial or support about updating it? I won't change html code so far...so i guess it will be easier, if someone just tells me what to overwrite and what to do not do so. Is that so?

Acetel - You will get tutorial how to convert old database to new database.

I have purchased the Ext version and am looking for information on upgrading from free to Ext. I don't see anything in the documentation about upgrading. Where can I find this info on converting the database?

It would be helpful to mention and link to the converters in the installation tutorial.

We unfortunately don't have database converters which can help You with update free version to pro or ext.. You can write email and We'll give You some tips which You can use. But if You don't have so much data we recommend to insert everything from beginning..

Data upgrade is quite easy... You just need to use Find and Replace function in Word (or any other text editor, but I think you will need to find end of paragraph - so Notepad is not good enough for it)... and thi way you can add few $ and some numbers to several database files files.
