more photos on list of products

I would like to place more than one thumb/photo in the product listings in a row -
like this

category
Product Title - Product Price
photos_1 photo_2 photo_3
----------------
category
Product Title - Product Price
photos_1 photo_2 photo_3
------------------
category
Product Title - Product Price
photos_1 photo_2 photo_3

I have tried various things but none have worked. Is this possible to do by editing the template files?

b2multi - as I understand you right, you want to have this in products list, not as you write in title in product detail page?

yes that is correct - I have figured out how to put all the thumbs at the top of the table in the product_details.tpl - I want this to be on the category listing page which shows titles & thumbs linking to the detailed info & photo page.

b2multi - so unfortunatelly, it needs quite big modyfications as you have to display this photos in templates/products_list.tpl file. I'm not able to write you a description how to do this.
