Paypal failing message

Hey I'm trying to integrate paypal, I've tried this: http://opensolution.org/Quick.Cart/forum/?p=readTopic&nr=1533 but I can't get it to work.

This is the fail message:
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_VARIABLE in /home/virtual/boxsetshop.com/public_html/shop12/actions_client/orders.php on line 84

I solved the problem but now when you click send it won't show the paypal image....what should i do? I've done everything right but you can't see the picture.
