Thanks, treewood, for your answer. I am considering taking you up on your offer. Can you estimate the cost for this alteration if the following conditions are to be met: 1. A customer can enter his customer ID number into the additional text field when he places an order 2. This customer ID shows up in the summary page after placing the order 3. The customer ID also shows up in the order list of the backend 4. After placing the order I don't need a confirmation eMail to be sent to the customer but instead I need an order eMail to be sent to the Shop admin (I don't just want him to get the line "a new order has been placed" but instead, the eMail body should contain the entire order including customerID)
Can you give me two price estimates: a) the price if you do this alteration for us b) the price if you perform such alteration in a more generic manner and include it in your product so everyone can benefit (e.g. a generic function for maintaining the customer record such as adding and removing fields AND the generic function to choose whether the mail to admin contains a notification or the actual order)
