Add logo in 'configuration', how?

In the configuration panel there's a field 'LOGO' with an upload box.

You can choose image from pc and upload.

I get message : data saved.

However, no logo is showing. When I return to the configuration panel, the upload box is empty again, so nothing indicates or refers to the upload I previously did..

All files are CHMOD OK.

I just want to use the 'shop' standalone, that's why a logo on the top of the page is required.

Referring --> Just the same way where the open solution logo is placed in the administration mode, in the left top corner.

Nicky - in configuration You will always have upload box. Accepted format of logo is: jpg/png/gif. Another problem is that You have chmod 777 in all config/ files and files/img/ directory

Hi Treewood, done everything you said.. No logo is appearing. I thought it might be the file-size, but when I upload a very small gif image to test, even that does not appear.

It is so strange, in the configuration panel the logo is showing, but NOT in the shop itself. I think it must be in the template of the shop, where I have to add the image somewhere?

I really don't understand, the functionality is foreseen to add a logo, so this should not be impossible??

Hope someone can help, I'm sure this can be solved somehow.

Nicky, here's an idea - if you know the name of the file and where it is eg files/img/logo_qc.jpg or logo_os.jpg.

Simply replace these file/s with your own by uploading them into the dir - that may help you
