upgrading Q.C

Hi.

I would like to know if I buy the Quick.Cart.Ext do I have to upgrade my version of quickCart? I'm using 1.4 and I "found" a nice design for it , I wouldn't want to chage it.

Could you explain what buying implies for an existing shop? Technically I mean. I can move all the products easy? What will Google say about it? (I'm being already indexed nicely, but I guess seo friendly URLs can only help.)

Will the bought version have exactly those characteristics as in the demo on the site?
