just tried both QuickCart 1.4 and 2.1 but in both version I cannot add pictures on my product pages. Nothing happens at all when clicking save - just a green box with the text "Data update completed" but the picture never shows up.
I'm running on a windows server with php 5.2 and the built in gd2 library (2.0.28 I guess). There are full write rights for the directories.

All files and directories in directories "files/" and "db/" must have chmod 777

It's not possible to chmod on a windows server (as far as I know) but all files and directories does have write permissions.

Slawek - do You have before shop and now You cant add pictures? If yes then contact with Your hosting provider and ask what they change that You cant add pictures now.

I have same problem: pure clean instalation - if i make new products, i can add any file (such as *.pdf, *.txt, *.doc etc...) but no one in graphical format. I can't add any photo in *.bmp, *.jpg, *.png etc..... What's wrong with this? i have write permisions and CHMOD are 777 for 'db', 'files' etc folders .....
pls. help Maybe it is restriction for free version QC 2.1 ?

No block: NO_PHOTO in file: templates/admin/categories_select.tpl No block: LIST_LIST in file: templates/admin/categories_select.tpl
this is also happening to me, this kinda of error messages popped up. i wonder if it has something to do with IE7, coz with IE7 menu top is not displayed either.
buddyraymond - then download QC again and copy templates/admin/categories_select.tpl to Your shop. It is strange that You dont have this blocks in Your QC

Many users have another strange problems with their server configuration, permissions, libraries etc and it is not easy to give global advice. Please use search and check for "image", "picture" and You will get all topics on this forum about this problem.
