Hidden category and product in the list

I need a special product and category (exp. with first letter "!") hidden in the category list and product list or with use a diferent style. Where i can building this solution?

michal.siman - maybe i dont understand ... You want product hidden in the list but not hidden to view if someone will open direct link to product?

i want use this for a GIFT item named 45FDGTRN4545THGSD with a price like -20 ... if somebody search this item by SEARCH form ... but dont view on the normal product list. I thinking about using something like:

if ....... and sWord<>"" show ....

I hope you understand now :-)

michal.siman - yes i understand but no idea how to do it ... maybe create another status: visible: yes/no/no - for list?

I didn't do that before and I cant give You fast advice. It will be more work
