pop up blockers

I have been getting complaints that the windows that open to display the image of the product is not working.
Where is the file that writes the pop up, I need to change this to another form of window or something.

OK, I acquired more information. It seem to have trouble with the pop up window display in Safari and IE(Mac). It opens the window in Safari, but it doesn't seem to be getting the file information from the database to display it. In IE(mac) the window doesn't open at all.

Does anyone have any idea how I can fix this.
I would really appreciate the help.
