can an attribute be added to the product to show whether it is in stock or not in stock and this be shown alongside the short description of the product?
I don't want full inventory control with numbers in stock. I just want to be able to inform the user if there will be a delay in ordering a product if it is not in stock. At present I am editing the short description each time I want to change the status of the product.
