a picture uploading?

I have a problem with a picture uploading when i add some new products.
There is no errors.. I´m just not able to see any pics.

I have also this same problem with logo..

Its because Quick Cart is realeased without images folders. (A simple error that should have been picked up with future releases).

Anyways.

Simply add these folders inside your /files/ folder, and CHMOD them to 777.

1) products
2) categories
3) img
4) content

Thats all the folders ive picked up so far, but if theres any i have missed, im sure someone will post them here for you.

I have those folders and i have chmod them to 777.

I tried to move one pic to products folder (with my ftp) and when i
moved it chmod was 000 and somethimes 644.
It´s little weard i think..

Do u have any idea where is the problem?

If you move files/folders on your webserver, the permissions will go back to standard, which is 644.

Not sure what the 000 would be from, maybe it wants to hide itself!

Dont add the images to the folders via FTP, add them thru the add-images feilds in your admin panel. You can replace the LOGO image via FTP, but the rest add manually thru your admin area.

Yeah, i know that i don´t have to use fpt.
I´m not able to replace the LOGO and add some
product pics. My adim area uploading system is not working..

Hello,

I have same problem. Uploading doesn't seem to work. No Pitures are uploaded through admin panels. Folders are all there and chmod settings are 777.

I wonder if someone could help me.

I found out that there is safe mode switched on in my server. Is that why uploading is not working? Is there any way to make it work?

I have the same problem. When uploading pictures, I don't get any errors but no pictures get uploaded either. I think it's a security issue.

The messages log on my server shows :-

PHP Warning: is_file(): open_basedir restriction in effect. File(/tmp/php7R2hyH) is not within the allowed path(s): (/home/e-smith/files/ibays/testwebshop) in /home/e-smith/files/ibays/testwebshop/html/libraries/FotoJobs.php on line 128

Any idea on how to fix this ?

To HAWA: Legyszives ird le alaposabban a problemad. Ha a "safe mode" is be van kapcsolva a "GD2"-t is a szerver tamogatja, sajn nemtudok tanacsot adni. A feltoltott kepeknek az elnevezese is gond lehet ha nem egyszeru. Probalj csak szamozott kepeket feltolteni.

trevis: kösz a tanácsokat de a számozással se megy, viszont azaz érdekes 2 hete még ment csak a szolgáltató átállította az sql-t, beszéltem velük de nem tudják mit is kéne visszaállítani h menjen:)

Mi az a gd2 elég láma vagyok:)

Information:

GD Support enabled
GD Version bundled (2.0.28 compatible)
FreeType Support enabled
FreeType Linkage with freetype
GIF Read Support enabled
GIF Create Support enabled
JPG Support enabled
PNG Support enabled
WBMP Support enabled
XBM Support enabled

safe_mode off

All the relevant folders are in place and CHMODed to correct values.

It seems that possibly as HAWA has said the bundled GD version is no good?

Any help would be great!
