I did a quick try for it and wound up with this: http://www.sjaakshobbyshop.nl/Develop/quickcart.test/
Dunno if there's any bugs with it yet, since I just threw it together. If you want to give it a go, go into your default.css file and take these steps: 1: change #container{width:740px; to: #container{width:905px; (leave whatever is behind it the same)
2: find the /* MENU - categories menu on left side */ section copy all of that section, and paste it underneath it, so you now have it twice (keeping a space in between the two keeps it looking nice and neat), change "on left side" to "on right side" to keep 'em apart easily.
3: change all the #menu entries to #menuright in your copy (or any name you find handy)
4: change #menuright{position:relative;float:left;width:165px;padding:0;margin:0;} to: #menuright{position:relative;float:right;width:165px;padding:0;margin:0;} so basically just change the "left" to "right", this'll let it float on the right side.
5: find your categories_menu.tpl file There's a <!-- BEGIN LIST_FOOTER --> section there. What I did was, underneath the: </dl> </div> I put: <div id="menuright"> <dl> $sRandomProduct </dl> </div>
These steps made it look like it does in the link above.
Dunno if it's the best way to go about it, and if plugins will work correctly, but it looks like Random Product does. Experiment away I'd say :)

Haven't found that grey bar thing on the left yet, so dunno how to put it on the right, as I said it was just a quick look so far ;D

Alright, got the extra bar in there too, it's a bit more indepth and it's late, so I'll get back to that at a later (earlier, har har) time.
