Hello All. I am new to using quick cart (been playing with it for the past few weeks) and have a question.

When an order is placed, an email gets sent to the email address that is associated in the admin configurations. Is there a way to customize this email to tell the person what was ordered instead of having to login to the admin panel and view the order that way?

You have to edit the page in the map: 'lang'. If you use an english language, adit 'en.php'.

In this page you see all the words that were used on QC. Search for some words that are standing in your e-mail (that you get when an order is done) and simply change the text into a text you want to have.

Goodluck.

Thanks again for the help!

I think you need a plugin to get an order mailed to you and not just this very useful msg. to check-in... Try the htmlMailOrderDetails 2.0 plugin. I just installed it, but sadly it doesn't send any mail to me? Perhaps it works better for you?

Are you trying to customize the email to the client or the admin?
