How can you make the start page display categories and not products?

Hi everyone,

I have been searching this forum, and searching all the QC documentation and I can't find how you make the start page display categories and not products? I want visitors to be brought to a product free category page first and then they can search for the products, not come to the products overview first.

I have been trialling a start page plugin, but I fear it is outdated and obsolete. I have also tried making a static html entry page, but the database does not load when I try this.

Has anyone else found a way to do this?

If anyone is even remotely interested in this one, a solution was found by Salathe from www.talkfreelance.com:

In the config/lang_en.php file, edit the start page in the config variable on (around) line 21. You'll want it to be p_3 (or whatever your home 'category' is).
