Send confirmation e-mail to a customer

Is it possible to send a conformation e-mail or any other e-mail in QuickCart to a custumer as soon as a product is shipped?

there is plugin sendOrderToClient in download section, try it

I know, but this sends the order to the client.
I am looking for something to let the client know the order is shipped or send him/her whatever email.

This is for versions 1.x of QC but there is probably a newer version for 2.x if you are using that
